Curved Chute Liner Plates

Description

Custom radius liner plates

Curved chute liner plates for chute bends, hopper transitions and curved transfer point wear zones.

Curved chute liner plates are custom wear-resistant plates shaped to fit curved chute walls, transition sections, loading zones and material-flow bends. They are useful when a flat liner cannot sit properly against the base structure or when segmented plates must follow a specified radius.

EB Chuteliner can quote curved liner plates from drawings, templates, worn liner photos, site measurements or sample parts. The RFQ should define radius, chord length, arc length, thickness, material grade, hole pattern and installation method.

Why curved liners?

Curved liners can improve contact with the chute shell, reduce installation gaps and support better protection in material-flow transitions where flat plates are difficult to fit.

Drawing-based supply

Radius, bend direction, hole positions and segment layout should be confirmed before quotation because each curved liner is usually made for a specific chute position.

Typical specification range

Item Typical RFQ detail Buyer note
Material NM400, NM450, NM500 or other wear-resistant plate according to duty. Confirm abrasion, impact, bending feasibility and thickness.
Geometry Radius, arc length, chord length, width, bend direction and segment layout. A drawing or template is strongly recommended.
Thickness Drawing-based thickness according to wear life, radius and forming requirements. Very thick wear plate may require segmented design instead of forming.
Fixing Round holes, slotted holes, countersunk holes, plug weld holes or back-side fixing where suitable. Hole layout should follow the curve and installation access.
Inspection Dimension check, radius or template check, hole pattern photos, material record and packing photos. Define inspection documents during RFQ.

Where curved chute liner plates are used

  • Curved chute walls and transition sections.
  • Conveyor transfer point liners where material changes direction.
  • Hopper or bin sections with radius corners or curved shells.
  • Crusher feed chute bends and high-impact flow paths.
  • Segmented liner systems where multiple curved plates follow one radius.

RFQ checklist for curved liner plates

Send this information Why it matters
Drawing, template or sample photos Confirms the curved profile, installation side and liner position.
Radius and bend direction Controls forming review and segment layout.
Arc length, chord length and width Helps verify geometry when drawings are incomplete.
Material grade and thickness Used for quotation, forming feasibility and wear-life review.
Hole pattern or fixing method Ensures the liner can be installed without site rework.
Quantity and part marks Supports nesting, batch production, packing and site identification.
Inspection requirements Radius check photos, hole layout photos and packing photos can be agreed before production.

Design notes for curved liners

Curved liners should be designed with the chute structure and installation access in mind. If the radius is tight or the plate is thick, the liner may need to be divided into smaller segments. Buyers should also confirm whether the holes are measured on the flat pattern or on the formed curve.

If hole alignment is uncertain, slotted hole chute liner plates may help with installation adjustment. If through-bolts are preferred, see bolt-on chute liner plates. For formed or cut-to-shape plate work, review custom processed wear plates.

Buyer note: when sending a curved liner RFQ, mark the wear face, bend direction and installation side. If you do not have a drawing, send photos with radius, chord length, arc length, width, thickness and hole locations.

Send drawings for a curved chute liner quote

Attach drawings, templates, photos, material grade, thickness, radius, arc length, hole pattern, quantity and working conditions. We will review the part as a drawing-based RFQ rather than an online checkout product.
