Quality Control for wear-resistant liners and wear plate parts starts before production. The most important step is confirming the drawing, material grade, working condition, dimensions, hole pattern, fixing method and inspection requirement before quotation and order confirmation.
For EB China / Chuteliner.com projects, quality evidence can include material confirmation, dimensional inspection, hardness or mechanical property checks, NDT discussion where applicable, inspection photos and shipment documentation according to buyer requirements.
Quality Workflow
Check drawing, dimensions, material grade, quantity, application and current wear problem.
Confirm NM grade, alloy grade, thickness, processing route and certificate needs before order.
Check key dimensions, hole pattern, surface condition, hardness or other agreed inspection items.
Provide agreed inspection photos, material documents, packing details and shipment information.
Inspection Items Buyers Can Discuss
Length, width, thickness, hole diameter, hole spacing, countersink geometry and tolerance points.
Material certificate, hardness range and grade confirmation according to project requirement.
Cutting edge, drilling quality, countersunk hole finish, surface condition and installation fit-up review.
Rust protection, seaworthy packing, part marking, packing list and shipment photo support.
Typical Quality Documents
| Document / Evidence | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Material certificate | Confirms material grade, chemical/mechanical data or mill certificate information where available. |
| Dimensional inspection record | Verifies critical drawing dimensions, hole pattern and processing accuracy. |
| Inspection photos | Shows product condition, key details, marking, packing and loading status before shipment. |
| NDT / special test discussion | UT, MT, hardness, impact or other checks can be discussed when relevant to the product and order. |
| Management system certificates | EB China group certificate references are listed on the Certificates page for buyer review. |
Quality Control for Wear Plate Orders
For processed wear plates, the most common risks are wrong hole layout, incorrect thickness, unclear countersink requirements and mismatch between material grade and working condition. To reduce these risks, buyers should provide drawings, photos and existing plate measurements before production.
For chute liners, hopper liners, crusher wear plates and mill-related wear parts, the working condition is equally important. Material handled, particle size, impact height, moisture, temperature and current service life help determine whether NM400, NM450, NM500, cast alloy or another wear solution should be considered.
Send Inspection Requirements with Your RFQ
If your project requires material certificates, dimensional reports, hardness checks, NDT or packing photos, include those requirements when sending drawings and quantity information.
